Give Us this Day Our Daily Bread

How often do we second-guess our decisions? Did we make the right choices for our children, our careers and about where we live? Sometimes we can second-guess ourselves to the point of exhaustion. To avoid this behavior, we can look through our photo albums of things done, and smiling faces enjoyed, and see that more was good than we thought or ever planned.

Somehow the Lord is with us, and has given us "our daily  bread." Where would we be without this daily bread of the Lord's love, care, and protection?

St Francis de Sales has the answer:

"Do well what you can, and the rest leave to God, who will do it sooner or later, according to the disposition of His Divine Providence."
