Our Unspoiled Beauty is looking like the God who created Us!

Every morning when we awake God sees us as exactly as He made us.  He sees our pristine beauty, which is simply the unadorned beauty of God’s intriguing creation.  God loves to look at His human beings not wearing frills, achievements or blemished by status.

The Lord delights in those who revere him,

those who wait for God’s faithful love

                                    Psalm 14:7 10-11

God simply marvels at the rich beauty, which His hands created.  God, the master craftsman, used no extras.  His extras came later and God called them gifts--And these gifts help us love God even more.

This is why each morning when we raise our voices to pray, we say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Lord.  Then we quickly add, Help me! Help me! Help me! Lord.  Through this simple prayer, God’s people ask to be allowed to discover new ways  to use their gifts for the sole purpose of loving God more attentively for creating them

We don’t deserve this unadorned image of God’s creation which we bear, but God gave it anyway.  When we neglect it, God finds a way to bring us to our senses and have us recognize once again that deep within we have a magnificent beauty created by God Himself.

We learn in life that we can enhance our God given natural beauty by using the “extras,”( our gift), to deepen our appreciation of our gifted beauty by just living When our ordinary lives and doing what God asks us to do in the best way we know how.  Then our God is pleased, i.e., it is in this simple living that we honor God with our hearts and not simply our lips.

When we greet each new day knowing Jesus walks beside us, guiding and assisting us where and when He can, God’s delight surrounds us.  God keeps his promise that Jesus is there helping with the big challenges, and the small ones too..  Jesus simply loves to help us get through our lives and into heaven, as successfully as we can.

And if on our spiritual journey,  hopelessness finds us, or doubtfulness overwhelms us, Jesus keeps us moving forward.  We keep moving and we do not stop.  Stopping can mean being over-run by what’s pursuing us.  Moving forward, getting a coffee or taking a walk are upbeat activities which can keep us on the path with Jesus.

Every morning then, thank the Lord for who we are, for after all He is the one who thought of the design and formed us.  Lest we never give up being that person He designed us to be.

The nearer we get to that master design the more pleased is Our Creator.  And even more stunning is how much closer we will we be to the Master Craftsman who made us.

The Lord delights in those who revere him,

those who wait for God’s faithful love

                                    Psalm 14:7 10-11
